Heimbach & Co. KG –founded in 1811- is a textile company producing technical textiles. Their main business is clothing for papermachines, i.e. forming fabrics, press felts, dryer fabrics and transfer belts. Beside that they produce filter mediums for industrial applications for air and liquir filtration. Other technical textiles like press pads, transport belts, bakery textiles, etc. are part their business. Heimbach GmbH & CO KG is part of the HEIMBACH GROUP. The HEIMBACH group has ~1430 employees, the turnover in 2006 was ~165Mio. EUR. The heimbach group produces technical textiles at 6 sites in Europe and builds up a new site in china, to supply the Chinese and other Asian markets. Regarding the Modsimtex Project, needle punch non woven is the main technology to anchor fibers batts on base weaves and nonwoven bases. |
