The production of wool felt began in 1851 in an industrial department of the Carl Breiding & Sohn Company. In 1922, this industrial department was merged with an independent company and has operated since then as GEBR. RÖDERS AG . With the start of the needled felt production in the mid 60ties, the manufacture of technical needled felts and filter media derived from the former, and the designing of innovative needled felt tubes for trenchless rehabilitation of waste water pipes, GEBR. RÖDERS AG has over the last 35 years become established as a partner for the development and the production of highly specialised technical textile applications. The product portfolio of GEBR. RÖDERS AG covers natural wool felts for industrial purposes, technical wool and needled felts, filter felts for dry, wet and hot gas filtration as well as needled felt hoses or composites for no-dig pipe and sewage rehabilitation. Wide acceptance of the products can also be gauged by the fact that annual sales have risen by a good 50 per cent in the last five years. There are currently 120 employees on a 30.000 m² site involved in the development and production of high-tech solutions for national and international markets. |
