On the basis of the decree of government of the ÄŒSSR about the development of Man-Made Fibres and textile auxiliary products manufacture the Institute for Processing of Man-MadeFibres was founded as a specific organisation in 1960. In 1969 the Institute was incorporatedinto the concern CHEMOPETROL. The fibre industry obtained by the Institute foundation a research and technical basement with professional focus on applied textile research dealing with research and development tasks of the plan for the development of man-made fibres and textile auxiliary products (fabric conditioners, preparations and sizing agents) research-monitoring activities for qualitative evaluation of man-made fibres produced in the ÄŒSSR evaluation of man-made fibres and textile auxiliary products by the State Testing Laboratory Nr. 220 technical service for manufacturers of man-made fibres and textile auxiliary products. In 1996 the Institute was privatised by the private company SPOLSIN, spol. s r.o. owned by companies SINDAT spol. s r.o. and SPOLANA a.s. Since 2003 the only owner of SPOLSIN, spol. s r.o. is SINDAT spol. s r.o. In 1998 the laboratory of SPOLSIN, spol. s r.o. received the status of the accredited laboratory Nr. 1224 according to ÄŒSN EN ISO/IEC 17025. In 2005 SPOLSIN, spol. s r.o. was certified for establishing of the quality managementsystem according to EN ISO 9001:2000. Nowadays, The SPOLSIN, spol. s r.o. is a member of the concern Sindat Group. The company continues in the original specialisation of the Institute for Processing of Man-Made Fibres, i.e. in the field of the fibre and textile manufacturing industry it performs:
In 2009 SPOLSIN announced its amalgamation with SINTEX, according to the decision of both. The succession company, SINTEX, assumes all entrepreneurial activities and obligations of the defunct one, SPOLSIN, and continues the realization of the scheduled program.
