The 16th edition of ITMA, the world’s most established textile and garment machinery technology exhibition held in Barcelona from 22th to 29th September 2011 was a great success.

Among the scheduled activities of the ITMA Fair, MODSIMTex Project was presented in the Speakers Platform by the coordinator of the project, José Antonio Tornero.

The last May, 24th to 27th 2011, MODSIMTex project have been presented at the Texprocess fair in Frankfurt that took place parallel with Techtextil fair.

The 2nd Period Review of the Project was carried out in Frankfurt the last May, 27th 2011; with the attendance of all the partners.

The next May, 27th 2011, the 2nd Period Review meeting will be hold in Frankfurt. The PTA and the EC Officer of the project will assist to the meeting.

The next May, 24th to 27th 2011, MODSIMTex project will be shown in a booth at the Texprocess fair that will take place in Frankfurt parallel with Techtextil fair.

The next September, 22th to 29th 2011, ITMA will take place in Barcelona. INTEXTER-UPC will have a booth in this event allowing the dissemination of the MODSIMTex advances.

The 2nd annual review of the Project have been hold in Brussels the last November, 25th 2010; with the attendance of all the partners.

One of the partners of MODSIMTex Project, SPOLSIN; announced the amalgamation of his company and SINTEX, according to the decision of both.

The EC inform that Mr. Hans Brelen, the EC project officer of MODSIMTex, finished his work in the EC the last March. From now, the new Project Officer is Mr. John Cleuren.
